Overview

Appadee LLC operates the BashTop Circuit application.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, why, and what you can do about it.

Important: BashTop Circuit is an online multiplayer game. Playing online requires an account and a connection to our servers, so unlike a fully offline app, some information is collected and stored. This policy sets out exactly what, and what is not.

We do not ask for your name, your email address, or a password. We do not use advertising identifiers, third-party analytics, or any form of tracking across apps or websites.

Personal Information We Collect

We collect the minimum needed to run a competitive online game.

What we create for you:

  • An account identifier, derived from a signing key your device generates on first launch. You do not create an account, choose a username, or set a password.

  • A display name, assigned by us. You cannot choose it. Other players see this name.

What we store while you play:

  • Your game record — matches played, wins, losses, ratings, experience, which tops and arenas you own or have earned, and tournament results.

  • Friend connections and blocks, if you use the friend code feature.

  • Purchase records — Apple's transaction identifier and the details Apple provides to verify it. See In-App Purchases below.

  • A notification token, only if you turn notifications on.

  • A Game Center identifier, only if you choose to link Game Center.

What we specifically do NOT collect:

  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contact details

  • Passwords

  • Photos, camera, microphone, or media of any kind

  • Location data

  • Contacts or address book

  • Advertising identifiers, or any identifier used to track you across apps

  • Third-party analytics or behavioural profiling

  • Any free text you write — the app has no chat and no way to type a message, a name, or any other text that another player can see

How the App Works

When you use the app:

  • On first launch, your device generates a signing key and registers an account with our servers. This happens without any sign-up form.

  • Playing online sends your inputs to our servers, which decide the result of every match. Results are recorded against your account.

  • Playing offline against the computer records nothing to our servers.

  • Your IP address is seen by our servers when you connect, and is used briefly to limit abusive request rates. We do not store IP addresses in our database or associate them with your account. Standard web server logs may retain connection records for a short period for security and reliability.

Photos, Camera, and Location

This app does not request access to photos, the camera, the microphone, or your location.

In-App Purchases

The app offers optional in-app purchases.

  • All transactions are processed by Apple. Appadee does not collect, receive, or store your payment card, billing address, or any payment information.

  • We store Apple's transaction identifier and the purchase details Apple signs and sends us, so we can grant what you bought and restore it later.

  • Restoring purchases asks Apple what your Apple ID owns and grants those items to your account.

Notifications

Notifications are optional and off unless you turn them on.

If you enable them, we store a notification token provided by Apple so we can send you the specific alerts you chose — a friend challenging you, or a friend coming online. You can turn each off separately in the app, or all of them in iOS Settings.

Game Center

Linking Game Center is optional.

If you link it, we store the player identifier Apple gives us. This identifier is specific to our apps and is not your Apple ID.

Please note: a linked Game Center identity is permanent to one account. This is deliberate, and it exists to stop a player abandoning a competitive record and starting again as somebody new. It is described further under Your Rights.

Why We Process Data

We process the information above only to:

  • Create and maintain your account

  • Run matches and decide their outcomes fairly

  • Keep competitive records, ratings and rankings that are accurate for everyone in a match

  • Deliver what you have purchased, and restore it on your other devices

  • Send only the notifications you asked for

  • Protect the service from abuse

We do not process your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to running the game.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Information is handled by a small number of service providers who act on our behalf:

  • Apple — for purchases, notifications, and Game Center, under Apple's own privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/privacy/

  • Our hosting and database providers — who store the data described above so the game can run

Other players see only your assigned display name, your rank badge, and the results of matches you played against them.

We may disclose information if required by law. See Legal Disclosure.

Data Retention

Match records are permanent. A finished match is a competitive result that belongs to everyone who played in it, so matches, ratings and tournament results are kept and are not deleted on one player's request.

Everything else is kept while your account exists.

Your Rights

You can delete your account from inside the app, under ACCOUNT → DELETE ACCOUNT. No email or support request is needed.

We want to be precise about what deletion does, because it is not a complete erasure and we would rather say so than imply otherwise:

What is removed:

  • Your display name is replaced with "Former Player" everywhere it appears

  • The signing key registered to your device is deleted

  • Your account is marked deleted and cannot be signed into again

What remains:

  • Matches you played, and their results, ratings and outcomes. These are other players' records as much as yours, and removing them would rewrite competitive history that is not one person's to give away.

  • Purchase records, which we are required to keep for tax and audit purposes

  • If you linked Game Center, that link is retained in an unlinked state, so the same identity cannot be used to start a fresh competitive record. The identifier is specific to our apps and is not your Apple ID.

Children's Privacy

BashTop Circuit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

The app has no chat, no user-generated text, and no way for players to communicate, which removes the most common risk to younger players in online games. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will act on it.

Links to Other Websites

The app may link to Apple's services or to our support page. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not operate.

Information Security

Connections between the app and our servers are encrypted in transit. Your account is proved by a key held on your device rather than by a password, so there is no password to be stolen or reused.

Legal Disclosure

We will comply with applicable law and will disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page.
